At first we were a little apprehensive about remodeling our place and not living close by -- until we met Laureen. Laureen took charge of the entire project and managed every aspect of the remodel from selecting samples for us to approve to personally supervising the sub-contractors. She even coordinated delivery and stored our new furniture until the install date. What a stress-free experience it was.

When we purchased our home in Beaver Creek, we were faced with the challenge of a complete redecoration, including painting, lighting, a relatively complex A/V system, furnishings, and art works, to be completed in less than four months. The project was further complicated by our residing in San Francisco and only being in Colorado for a week between the time that we closed on the property and when we hoped to occupy our redecorated home. "Laureen took us through the interior design process from start to finish by providing us with many options and giving us advice and opinions when appropriate.
In addition to superb taste, we would note particularly two valuable attributes LHID demonstrated consistently on the job:

1. Great relations with local trade and craftsmen. They are extremely demanding and unwilling to accept substandard work, but the trade people respect them because they are clear in setting expectations.
2. They listen very well and were flexible in changing the design approach when something didn't work out as well as we originally thought it would.
